Susana Barbosa is a senior Researcher at INESC TEC (Porto, Portugal). She has a multidisplinary background spanning physics,computation, and engineering domains, with a 1st degree in Physics / Applied Mathematics - Astronomy (FCUP, 1998), a master degree in Computational Methods in Science & Engineering (FEUP, 2000) and a PhD degree in Surveying Engineering (2006, University of Porto). Her research work focus on time-series analysis methods and its application to the analysis of sea level and climate records, focusing on climate change characterisation and uncertainty estimation, in particular the assessment of trends and the quantification of changes in seasonality.
