Trondheim is located in central Norway, on the shore of the Trondheim Fjord. As a former Viking capital it is the third largest city in Norway, with a population of 193,000. It is home to 30,000 students, making it a vibrant university town with a large number of cultural events. English is widely spoken in Norway and particularly so in Trondheim.
