In weeks 7 and 8, there's a short Matlab intro for 4M while 4N does Laplace transforms. Tuesday February 10 was a lecture that covered Matlab basics and some things about the DFT. Thursday Februar 12 and the following Tuesday the lecture times will be made available for hands-on help with the Matlab problems. You are also welcome to work with the problem sets on your own, or go to your student assistant.

The problem sets are quite different; the first should be relatively quick, and covers basic Matlab. The second is much longer, and illustrates an application of the discrete Fourier transform.

The problems are handed in to your student assistant as normal, and replace problem sets 6 and 7.
