There will be approximately one exercise pr. week in the beginning, somewhat less when the project work starts. They are not compulsory, and should not be handed in (with the exception of the project). But exercises and solutions are part of the curriculum.

There will be no regular exercise sessions the first weeks, but you are welcome to see me at my office (1349 SBII) if you have questions, either it is from the curriculum or the assignments.

• Exercise 3 with solutions
• Exercise 4 with solutions. For problem 2, see the solution for the exam 2006.
• Exercise 5 with solutions, including problem 2.
• Exercise 6, MATLAB code with solutions of problem 1 and problem 2.

I would be quite grateful if you inform me about possible errors and misprints in the exercises or in the solutions!

There is one compulsory project work, counting 35% of the grade. The first part is handed out in week 39, the second part in week 43. The grade will be based on a short report and presentation.
