Wednesday 13.02.2019 morning is reserved for Excursions. We organize two alternative excursions - and registration will be during the first day of the Conference.

Excursion A: Wondo Genet visit - departure by bus at 0830 - 4 hours - fee EUR 10. We visit the HU forest station and explore the hot springs in the mountainsides. Moreover, we receive refreshments at the Emperor's castle and visit the famous Emperors shower. On the way back we drive through the countryside of Ethiopia.

Excursion B: Hike through Hawassa and surroundings - departure by foot at 0830 - 3 hours - no fee. We walk through the regular streets of Hawassa and pass parks and schools. Thereafter we climb Tabor mountain to have a nice overview of the city. We continue towards the Hawassa University Hospital - and return along the lakefront. On our way back we pass the Fish marked.
