Pensum

This page contains the tentative pensum. I marked the sections in the textbook content which we are going to cover. All related problems (to be specified during the lectures) are included into pensum.

Approximately 1/3 - 1/4 of the course will include materials which meet concrete student interests. For example in one of the previous courses it was application of wavelets for numerical solutions of ODE, in another - characterization of smoothness in terms of wavelet coefficients. Any topic related to time-frequency analysis can be discussed, your requests are welcome! So far I got a short request regarding modulation spaces (two lectures at most).
