TMA4115 - Calculus 3, spring 2014

  • (2014-05-13) The location for the "mattelab" sessions is R2 for both days.
  • (2014-05-06) There will be two "mattelab" sessions, one on Thursday 15th May and one on Friday 16th May, running from 10am to 3pm. These will take place in the Realfaggsbygget, locations to be announced.
  • (2014-05-06) Here are some details about the format of the exam. There will not be multiple choice questions. It is a "Code C" exam, meaning that you can bring in an approved calculator and a copy of Rottmann "Matematiske formelsamling".
  • (2014-05-05) Solutions to all homework exercises, including the final exercises after the last regular homework, are available on the homeworks page. If you find an error in the solutions, contact Øystein.
  • (2014-04-29) There is a list of exam problems categorised by topic which can be found here.
  • (2014-04-26) There will be two revision lectures:
    • Monday 5th May, 10am-12noon, in F1. Topic: Linear Algebra
    • Tuesday 6th May, 10am-12noon, in F1. Topic: "The Rest" (Complex numbers, differential equations, systems of differential equations)
  • (2014-04-22) The opportunities to have homework 13 approved are:
    • Friday 25th April, 10am-12noon, in S23.
    • Tuesday 29th April, 10am-12noon, in 829 SBII.
  • (2014-04-15) All the exam solutions are now posted, including the exam from Autumn 2013.
  • (2014-04-15) Homework 13 will be assessed only for those who currently only have 7 approved homeworks. There will be two opportunities for having this approved in the two weeks after Easter.
  • (2014-01-10) The list of homework groups is ready.
  • (2014-01-09) You can get an RSS feed of changes made to these pages. This will alert you to new content.
  • (2014-01-09) The first homework has been set. Hand-in days will depend on the exercise groups and will be made more precise shortly.
  • (2013-12-18) Lectures begin in week 2 (January 6-10). Exercise sessions begin in week 3 (January 13-17).
