The course description can be found in the student handbook here.
The textbook for the course is Calculus for Biology and Medicine, 3. edition, by Claudia Neuhauser. It should be available at Akademika.
We will cover selected sections of chapters 7 to 11 of the textbook. As is often the case, we may not get to all chapters. For more accurate and detailed information, refer to the course schedule.
All students are assigned to a recitation session. These are sessions where you will meet with student assistants, who will discuss exercises that have been assigned for homework. You are not required to attend these sessions, but you must submit your homework assignments to the student assistant to which you are assigned. You can find out which group you are in here. Recitation sessions will begin 12. January.
If you have a disability or a special need that requires some accomodation, you must apply for this accomodation. If this applies to you, click here for information about applying. The deadline for applications is February 15. Your application must be approved before we will make any accomodations.
