Exam with solution sketch and grading guidelines. Two students did very well, two did it less, and the majority (15 students) was spread in between.
About the course

As you all are aware of, rector just decided that today December 14. is the last day for school exam. Our exam will be held as a home exam December 18, time 0900-1300.
This is indeed a pity, and unfortunately the grading is then changed to passed or fail instead of letter grades. The threshold for a fail grade is the same as for a school exam with letter grades.
You will be given half an hour additional time for scanning and uploading your solution in Inspera. Note that Inspera is web-based, you do not have to download any application. Instructions for executing the exam are given here: home exam.
The exam text will be included in Inspera as a pdf file, and you upload your answer as instructed in the link above. Note that in order to switch to English language in Inspera, press the "settings-wheel" up in the right corner and switch language.
The problem set is similar to the one that has been prepared for a school exam.
For those of you who are not familiar with digital exam using Inspera, be sure to get to know the system well in advance of the exam (link above). Make sure to test the "demo home exams and submissions" at Inspera (the only relevant for you is the "File upload PDF").
Norwegian students should be familiar with Inspera. They are a resource and could help you if possible. If there are things that still are unclear about Inspera and how to execute the exam, please contact Mette Langaas at the math institute, mette.langaas@ntnu.no
