  • Register here (before october 3). Registration is now closed

Groups

  • Final groups will be formed after october 3.
  • The groups are now formed.
  • Check that final groups are correct and no mistake has been made.
  • The group can exclude anyone not doing their fair share.

Problems

  • The problems can be found …

Each group delivers

  1. A written note/report 5-10 pages long.
    • Send me the report in PDF-format by email.
    • Name the report: ReportG??.pdf where ?? is replaced by group number.

  2. A 8-10 minutes presentation in front of class (make 5-6 slides)
    • Email the slides (PDF) to me at least 1 hour before the presentations starts.
    • Name the file: SlidesG??.pdf where ?? is replaced by group number.
  • Do not use names or candidate numbers! Only group numbers and student numbers of its members.

How to work

  • You can present partial answers and results.
  • It is ok to try and fail as long as you do not cover up what you have done.
  • You can discuss across the groups, but reports and presentations must be made independently.
  • You can use any literature you find yourself, but you must give references to the source!!
  • You should not copy from any source without understanding the material first!

Grades and Comments

The reports have been graded my me (Espen) in collaboration with Harald Krogstad.

The quality of the projects this year is very good, but the discussion and conclusion parts of the reports are weak and should be improved a lot. The standard of the work done and the grades obtained are comparable to earlier years.
