Dec 5th: Updated solutions to Friday's exam problems (typos in Problem 3a and 6b corrected). Please send the lecturer an email if you spot new typos.
Nov 27th: Today's exam with the typo in Problem 3 corrected (sorry about this). The solutions will be posted in the near future.
Nov 25th: Link for final (question) session before the exam.
The exam on November 27th will be a home exam, pass/no pass.
The course is given in English.

We will mainly follow the book

Metrics, Norms, Inner Products and Operator Theory, by C. Heil,

which is available free of charge if you access the Springer web page via the NTNU network. Towards the end of the course, the book will be supplemented by lecture notes. For further information, see here.
