TMA4300 Computer Intensive Statistical Methods spring 2022
Exercises
There is one exercise for each of the three parts of the course. You should note the following:
- The exercises should be done using the statistical package R, see here.
- The exercises should be done in groups of two persons.
- The solution of the exercises can be given in English or Norwegian.
- It is obligatory to do the exercises. To be admitted to the exam all three exercises must be found acceptable. This means a reasonable attempt must be made to solve ALL problems.
- The exercises count for 30% of the final grade in the course. Only projects that are done this semester will count to the final mark.
- The exercise classes will take place in the computer lab of the Department of Mathematical Sciences during the assigned lecture hours. The teaching assistants and/or the lecturer will then be there to answer any questions you may have. If you have questions outside the project classes please contact preferably the teaching assistant. In case it is not possible to have physical attendance to the lab we will find another another solution for giving support to the groups.
