Evalution and exam

The evaluation of the course consists of three parts:

  • Exam: The exam result counts 70% of the final grade in the course. For the exam date see Course information.
  • Exercises: Three exercises are obligatory. To be admitted to the exam all three exercises must be found acceptable. This means a reasonable attempt must be made to solve ALL problems. The result of each exercise counts 10% of the final grade in the course, i.e. in total the result of the exercises counts 30% of the final grade in the course.

  • Oral presentation: An oral presentation of (a part of) one of the exercises is obligatory. To be admitted to be exam the presentation must be found acceptable.
