Exercises

Exercise sets number 2, 5 and 8 are compulsory in order to be allowed to take the exam. The rest are not, but they are also extremely important for the exam. The compulsory exercises are graded as pass/fail, and all three must be passed in order to take the exam.

You will deliver your solutions to the compulsory exercises as pdf files in Blackboard. The solutions must be handwritten and scanned (a good image with a phone is fine) and submit as a PDF file. For the exercise to be approved, you must score at least 40% as you would need to pass on the exam.

The TA is available for questions regarding the exercises during the exercise session (see this), and also on the discussion forum.

The notation "2:10,27" below means exercise 2.10 and 2.27 in the textbook by Casella and Berger.
