01 December 2014: I wish you good luck with the exam tomorrow! Vaclav will come to the exam at 10 o'clock.

24 November 2014: I am unfortunately out of office from today until December 5 (in China). Hence my Office hours on Wednesday November 26 are cancelled. Vaclav will be available for questions from now until the exam. You may send emails, either to me or Vaclav. Vaclav will be the contact person on the exam day.

12 November 2014: Both Wednesday lecture and Thursday lecture this week will be in R90; Next week (November 19 and 20), the Wednesday lecture is in R90 and the Thursday lecture in EL4.

30 October 2014: There are no lectures on November 5 and November 6. Instead you are supposed to work with the most important parts of Chapter 9 in a self-study. Some directions for this self-study is found under "Lecture plan and progress".

10 October 2014: The Wednesday lectures will be moved back to room R90 starting October 22.

10 October 2014: Exercise 8 is a trial exam set, which will be discussed and solved in class on October 22-23. Vaclav will be present in his office Tuesday Oct 14, and will be in EL4 Thursday Oct 16 from 9 to 10. He has to cancel, however, the ordinary exercise time on Wednesday due to a meeting. You may send an email to make other appointments.

08 October 2014: There are no lectures next week, i.e., Wednesday October 15 and Thursday October 16. Instead you we will get a "trial exam'' (to be downloaded from the Exercise website). Vaclav will have office hour and exercise meeting as usual, and he will in addition be present in EL4 on Thursday October 16 from 9 to 10.

24 September 2014: The Office hours today will be reduced to 11:15-12:00.

11 September 2014: Office Hours for Vaclav will be Tuesdays 11:00-12:00. This time is appropriate for those who cannot attend the exercise class on Wednesdays 12:15-13:00.

04 September 2014: If possible, we should change the day and time for the EXERCISES. This is due to a collision with another course. Please fill out the times that are possible for you on this Doodle poll. The days are restricted to Monday and Tuesday, and if we are able to find a possible time, the change will be for the rest of the semester. The DEADLINE for participating in the poll is TUESDAY September 9 at 23:59.
