23.05.2024: The grading of the exam is now finished. Your exam grade should now be available, or will become available in the near future. A grading document describing how the solutions of the exam problems has been evaluated is available from the old exams page.
22.05.2024: The problem text and a solution sketch for your exam are now available from the old exams page. A grading document will become available in the same place when the grading of your solutions is finished.
07.05.2024: Your solutions to Project 3 is now corrected and graded. Your solution with comments (and grade) has been sent to you in an email (using the email address registered in Blackboard). A description of the criteria used to set the grades can be found here.
07.05.2024: The front page of your exam problem set is now available here. Please read it carefully - before the exam day.
19.04.2024: How to get help when preparing for the exam?
- Ask your follow students. Both you and your fellow students will learn from this.
- You may ask questions in the digital forum available from the course home page.
- You may come to the office of the lecturer to discuss topics of the course. You may either just come to the office and hope the lecturer is available, or you may send an email to the lecturer and ask for a time to meet. You find the email address of the lecturer in the course home page, under contact information.
- Please do not send emails with questions about the curriculum. Use in stead the digital forum or come in person to the office of the lecturer.
19.04.2024: Some information about the exam:
- The printed and hand-written support material allowed at the exam are
- Tabeller og formler i statistikk, Akademika.
- A yellow sheet of paper (A5 with a stamp) with personal handwritten formulas and notes. You can get such a sheet in the 7th floor of Central Building 2, in the corridor outside the department office of Department of Mathematical Sciences. Note that you should take an A5 sheet and that you are only allowed to bring one such sheet to the exam.
- The exam will be a so called digital school exam, see information at https://i.ntnu.no/wiki/-/wiki/English/Digital+school+exam+-+for+students. If you have not done a digital school exam at NTNU before, study in particular what is written about Safe Exam Browser (SEB) under "1. Preparations" in that web page. Please install SEB in your computer well before the exam date, so that you if necessary can get help if something is not working properly.
- The front page of the exam set will be posted in this home page some days before the exam. Please read it carefully before going to the exam, so that you do not need to use time on this at the exam.
04.04.2024: The text for Project 3 is now available from the project page. The deadline for handing in the project is Thursday April 18th. Note that this last project you should do alone, not in groups.

If you were several people handing in one report, the solution with comments has only been sent to the one who handed in the report in Blackboard, so please forward to co-authors.

12.02.2024: We do not have a reference group is this course. In stead you are asked to give feedback to the lecturer by answering a few questions in a couple of questionnaires. The first questionnaire is now available at https://nettskjema.no/a/398944. Please help us to improve our teaching by answering this survey as soon as possible, and no later than Friday February 23rd. Of course, you answer anonymously.
18.01.2024: The text for Project 1 will be available from the project page on Tuesday January 23rd. The deadline for handing in the project is Wednesday February 7th.
15.01.2024: Todays lecture got a quick end. The plan for the remaining minutes was to find the martingale for the second process, and from this to find the associated variational processes.

03.01.2024: Welcome to this home page for TMA4275 Lifetime analysis. We will have an information meeting about the course on Monday January 8th at 12.15 and the first lecture will be on Tuesday January 9th at 08.15, see Lecture and exercise plan for rooms.
Please note that you are supposed to study the four videos in Introduction to the course before you come to the first lecture on Tuesday morning. This is as specified in the Lecture and exercise plan.
