I have done the projects in TMA4275 in a previous semester. Do I need to re-do the projects this semester?

If you have done the projects in TMA4275 in a previous semester and have been admitted to the exam that semester you will be admitted to the exam also this semester even if you don't do the projects in the current semester. However, only a Project 3 that is done in the current semester will count to the final grade. If you did the project in a previous semester the grade will NOT be transferred, so you will only achieve a maximum of 70% if you don't re-do Project 3 this semester.

Should we include our R code in the solutions to the projects?

Yes, and your code should contain comments to make it easier to read.

How do we present the results we obtained in the exercises?

Typically you visualise your results in various types of plots. Choose plots that are the most informative for you results, and always remember to discuss what the reader can learn from your plots.

Do we need to discuss the results in the project reports?

Yes, discussion of your results is in fact a very very important part of your solution!

What kind of exam will we have in the course?

The exam will be a digital school exam, using Inspera.

What are the permitted aids at the exam?

The permitted aids at the exam are:

• Specific basic calculator.
• One yellow sheet (A5 with stamp) with your own formulas and notes.
