  • 21.05.2021. The front page of your exam you can now find here. It contains much information so please read it before the exam day.
  • 20.05.2021. The project solutions for Project 2 have now been corrected and graded. Each of you should have received an email with a corrected version of your solution. If you have not received such an email you must contact the teaching assistant.
  • 07.04.2021. To follow the updated NTNU rules, the lectures on Monday April 12th and Tuesday April 13th will both be digital. Videos for the Monday lecture is already available. A video for the Tuesday lecture will be available from some time the day before.
  • 29.03.2021. The text for the second project is now available from the project page. Note that the deadline for handing in your solution is Wednesday April 28th at 18.00.
  • 19.03.2021. If anyone have questions related to the feedback given to their project solution, or just would like to talk a little about any of the problems in the project or their solutions of these, you are welcome to contact the teaching assistant.
  • 17.03.2021. The project solutions have now been corrected and graded. Each of you should have received an email with a corrected version of your solution. If you have not received such an email you should contact the teaching assistant.
  • 18.02.2021. To get help when working with Project 1 you can come (physically) to one of the lecture or exercise hours set up in week 8, or you can get help digitally by logging into Zoom at one of the lecture or exercise hours, or you can (at any time) write a question in the Blackboard forum for the project.
  • 16.02.2021. Some additional information about the projects are now added to the project page: "The projects are to be done individually, i.e. not in groups. The project solution should specify your name, NOT your student number or your candidate number".
  • 11.02.2021. As you probably already know, no physical lectures are allowed at NTNU, Trondheim, in the coming week. The Tuesday lecture Fedbruary 16th will therefore be digital (a video). The videos for the Monday lectures are already available. The video for the Tuesday lecture will probably becomes available from Monday afternoon. As long as the current restrictions continue also the help with Project 1 will also be only digital, in forums in Blackboard and via zoom, see the lecture plan.
  • 10.02.2021. The text for the first project is now available from the project page. Note that the deadline for handing in your solution is Wednesday March 3rd at 18.00.
  • 10.02.2021. The first reference grouping meeting is to be at Friday February 12th. If you have any comments to the course you may contact one of the reference group members, see contact.
  • 21.01.2021. Based on the new guidelines from Rector about physical teaching we will from February 1st start to have physical lectures on every Tuesday. The lectures on Mondays will continue as digital in the same format as before. In the first physical lecture we will also discuss what to do with the exercise hours on Tuesdays. In the first physical lecture, on February 2nd, I will also ask for persons who can be in the reference group for the course. If you are not able to attend the lecture on February 2nd, but would like to be in the reference group, please send an email about this to the lecturer.
  • 15.01.2021. As you probably already has been informed, there will be no physical teaching in the coming week (week 3). The digital lecture on Monday January 18th consists of videos, which are already available. The digital lecture on Tuesday January 19th will come available on Monday afternoon. You can get help with Exercise 1 by asking questions in the forum established for this in Blackboard. As soon as NTNU allows physical teaching we will start with physical teaching on every Tuesday. However, following the rules set up by the NTNU rector, you will be informed about this at least one week before the physical teaching starts.
  • 09.01.2021. The first week of the course all lectures will be digital. Video lectures for Monday is already available. A video for the Tuesday lectures will be available some time in the coming Monday. In addition to the videos you should this week read Chapters 1, 2.1, 2.2 and 2.5 in More (2006) and study the examples in Chapter 1 of Aalen, Borgan and Gjessing (2008). You can also start working on Exercise 1. If you need help on Exercise 1 you can ask questions in a forum established for this in Blacboard or come to the physical exercise hour at Tuesday January 19th (if we are allowed to have a physical exercise hour at that time). If you have other questions about the course you can use another forum established in Blackboard or send a mail to the lecturer. The current plan is to hold an (only) physical lecture on Tuesday 19th.
  • 04.01.2021. Welcome to this home page of TMA4275 Life time analysis. In this home page you will find information about the course content and information about the plan for the lectures and exercises for the first few weeks. Note the any plan may be changed, especially in the pandemic situation we are in now. The current lecture and exercise plan is based on the assumption that we are able to meet physically in the second and later weeks (i.e. from January 18).
