Curriculum

The final curriculum is the material covered in the lectures, which is mostly covered in the following chapters from Fundamentals of Error-Correcting Codes by Huffman and Pless:

• 1.1-1.6, 1.8, 1.10-1.12.
• 2.1, 2.4, 2.8.
• 3.1-3.7.
• 4.1-4.5.
• 5.1, 5.2, 5.4 (Berlekamp-Massey decoding algorithm only).
• 14.1-14.5.

A note on Reed-Muller codes may be useful.
