Note that the exercises are optional and should not be handed in. I do, however, recommend to try to solve them, because they will be part of the pensum.

Comments
- Fixed an error in the computation of \(C\) in problem 1 b) in Exercise set 7.
- Typo in solution of problem 3 in Exercise set 2: the positive eigenvalue is 2, not 1.
- The hint in problem 7 in Exercise set 2 was slightly incorrect and has been updated.
