TMA4175 - Complex Analysis: Spring term 2026

Messages:

• Jan 4th: The lectures are in English. This will be the second course in complex analysis (we assume that you have taken MA2106 or TMA4120, otherwise you have to work harder to follow the lectures). We shall follow the Ahlfors book and the main task to prove the uniformization theorem.

• Jan 6th: In the first lecture we will recall Cauchy's theorem, see Chapter 4 of the Ahlfors book and section 1.1-1.2 of the notes. The notes will be updated from time to time.
