7 November: There were some typos in problem set 11. They are now fixed.

2 November: It was not possible to solve question 5 of problem set 10. The problem have been modified, and should now be possible to solve.

31 October: There was a mistake in the first question of problem set 10. The problem set is fixed now.

26 October: There was a mistake in the first version of problem set 9. In exercise 2, there should be a complex conjugate over g(t) in the innerproduct. The problem set is now updated.

13 October: Today was my last lecture at NTNU. I had a great time, thank you for your active participation in the course. I wish all of you good luck with this class and with your academic career. All the best, Silvius.

13 October: The minutes from the second reference group meeting (on Thursday, 13th of October) are here. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss issues related to the transition to the new teaching team.

13 October: The eighth homework set is now posted. Please continue doing your homework and turning it in for feedback, even after you reach the minimum number of approved homework sets. It is very important that you practise, this is how we learn mathematics.

7 October: The seventh homework set is now posted.

30 September: The sixth homework set is (finally) posted, sorry for the delay.

18 September: I've made some small changes in problems 3 and 4 of the fourth homework assignment.

31 August: The second homework set is now posted. Remember that the first is due on Friday before 15:00.

30 August: The exercise groups are now final. I have taken into account all the time conflicts you had made me aware of.

Please login here using your NTNU student username to see your assigned group number. You will also be able to see the weekly homework sets, whether your homework was approved or not (after it was graded) and the solutions to the exercises (after the deadline). Moreover, if you would like to, you could upload your homework there (you may type it or just upload a scanned copy—make sure it is clear enough to print and read).
