Problem Sets

Hand in your solutions next to "Matteland" (nordre lavblokk, 3. floor) in the shelves marked TMA4145. You need to pass 8 problem sets in order to take the exam. You may hand in your solution as a group of up to four, but please make sure to mark it with the name of everyone in the group.

Students that already have passed the required amount of exercises an earlier year are automatically qualified for the exam. You can check whether this is the case in FS (Felles Studentsystem) at any departmental office or at Studentservice. Please note that none of the teachers in this course can see whether you have passed or not. Note also that is highly recommended that you solve this year's exercises anyhow, since they are intended to prepare you for the exam, and since you receive feedback on your solutions from the teaching assistants.

Should you discover that you are at risk of failing the minimal amount of 8 approved solution sets, please contact your teaching assistant without any further delay. Exceptions will in general not be accepted.

Have I passed enough problem sets?

It is suggested first to master the mandatory exercises, and learn the examples from the lecture notes, before solving any additional ones. If you still have time for additional training, earlier years' exams are recommended.
