Exercise Sessions

Head student assistant

The exercise sessions are organised by Herman Galteland.

Exercise webpage

This semester we will use the new system for delivering and approving exercises.

https://ovsys.math.ntnu.no/

The new system enables the students to hand-in electronically, which we will use as the primary delivery method.
If you wish a thorough correction (grundig retting) from your student assistant, you need to deliver your exercise either as a pdf file or as a word document.
A simple picture of the exercise would suffice if you do not wish for a thorough correction.

If you're not registered on this webpage, you need to send an email to Herman with your NTNU username (mail address) and programme of study.

Although the course appear on the webpage does not mean that you are registered for the course. Check registration status (oppmeldingsstatus) on studentweb.

Requirements

You need 8 (out of 13) approved exercise sets to qualify for the exam.
You can check on the exercise webpage how many approved exercises you have so far.

https://ovsys.math.ntnu.no/

Hand-Ins

The deadline for hand-ins is Fridays at 23:59.
After Easter, the deadline for hand-ins is Wednesdays at 23:59
Please note that the new system is very strict on this deadline.

https://ovsys.math.ntnu.no/

If you have any questions regarding the hand-ins, check the FAQ.

Groups

You could attend any group hour you like, but in order to spread out the students as best as possible over all the student assistants,
it is recommended to attend a group which is planned for your line of study.

Groups marked with 'Others' have room for students which are from other study lines which are not on the list.
