ST1201/ST6201 Statistiske Metoder (or Statistical Methods)
This page will contain the timetable and links to all of the material (modules, exercises etc.). The course is run by Bob O'Hara, who can be contacted by email here.
Blackboard will be used for announcements, and for material that shouldn't be public. We can also use other tools there, if they are useful.
Exam Aid
- The exam questions will be written in English. But you can answer in English, or either flavour of Norwegian. This is not a language exam, so Bad English is fine.
- The official rules about material state
Specified printed and hand-written support material is allowed. A specific basic calculator is allowed.
The link has more details, e.g. about what calculator you are allowed, and guidance on dictionaries. Also note that this is what has been written on previous exams:
– Tabeller og formler i statistikk, Tapir forlag,
– K.Rottman. Matematisk formelsamling,
– Stamped yellow A4 sheet with your own handwritten notes,
– Calculator: HP30S, Citizen SR-270X, Citizen SR-270X College or Casio fx-82ES PLUS
If it is any different this year, I will inform you in advance.
- There are pdfs of previous exams are here, along with some solutions
