• W.Cheney and D.Kincaid - Numerical Mathematics and Computing (Seventh edition)
• A list of known errors can be found here
• You can also use the sixth edition of this book, which you apparently can get for a much lower price. Both editions will be permitted in the exam.

• 16th of May 2017, 09:00-13:00. The location will be given here
• Permitted aids are given by code C:
• Approved basic calculator.
• The textbook: Cheney \& Kincaid, Numerical Mathematics and Computing, 6th or 7th edition, including the list of errata.
• Rottmann, Matematisk formulae.
• Handout: Fixed point iterations.
• Notice: No handwritten text is allowed in the textbook or handout. However, highlighting using textliner is allowed.

• The final written exam counts 70/100.
• The project counts 30/100.
