Important information

  • The project will count for 30% of the final grade. If it is not handed in you may still take the final exam, but your score is limited to 70% of your final exam score.
  • You may work either alone or in pairs.
  • It is sufficient to hand in the functions you're explicitly asked to create (and any helper functions these may depend on) when you hand in the project.

Project help

For week 11 and 12 you can get help with the project in the following ways:

LaTeX

For those who wish to write the project report in LaTeX, I've made a simple sample file which, can be used as a starting point for your report. The file contains examples of most of the basic elements of writing LaTeX you will need in such a report.

Download it here: LaTeX sample file

There are a lot of different LaTeX document editors out there. A good option which is free, cross-platform, and quite user friendly is Texmaker.

You will also need to install a LaTeX distribution. Information about how to get one can be found here.

For additional help and introduction to LaTeX you may consult the LaTeX wikibook. A ton of other help is also available online.
