Manifolds and Geometric Integration Colloquia (MaGIC) has been organized since 1998 from the Geometric Integration (GI) groups of Bergen and Trondheim. The aim of these informal colloquia is education of PhD students. In an informal atmosphere PhD students, post-docs and more senior staff (often a leading international profile) present recent developments in the field of GI, discuss new research and establish collaborations. MaGIC is a team-building and low budget event. The scope of the colloquia is to provide an informal atmosphere to exchange recent developments in the field of GI as well as time to establish collaborations. A restricted number of participants from abroad are usually invited to attend the meeting.
