The walk from the hotel to the Gløshaugen campus (where the workshop takes place) is approximately 20 minutes long (1.8 km or 1.1 miles). Use Google Maps or the map below:

The most convenient way to get to Trondheim is to fly to the Trondheim-Værnes airport (TRD code). The main connecting hubs are Amsterdam, Copenhagen or Oslo. There are also daily flights form London Gatwick.

There are two bus companies driving to the city, and the trip takes 40 min. The two-way ticket costs about 230 NOK (approximately 25 Euros) with either company. "Værnes-Ekspressen" stops at the hotel (Bakkegata), while the closest stop with "Flybussen" is a few minutes away (Søndre Gate). You may ask the airport bus driver to let you know when the bus will approach the hotel.

Be aware that a taxi from the airport is very expensive, especially at night time.
