Practical information

The symposium will take place at Scandic Parken Hotel in Ålesund during the week Monday - Friday 6 - 10 June (arrival day Sunday 5 June, departure day Saturday 11 June). The organizers will arrange accommodation for all participants, including breakfast and lunch all days (and conference dinner Thursday evening). The talks will take place in the room called «Amfi».

There are direct flights to Ålesund from Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, as well as from Amsterdam (KLM). There is an airport bus to downtown Ålesund, where the hotel is.

If you wish to travel to/from Ålesund and see some fjords, why not try the Hurtigruten or Havila cruise ship (Coastal Express) from/to Bergen or Trondheim.
